With Paul Schwendener, Chair of the National Arts Club Music Committee, and Rhoda Elison Hirsch, Ph.D., Member of the National Arts Club Board of Governors.

"A Virtuoso Afternoon with Prize-Winning Pianist Jiahao Han," presented by the Stecher and Horowitz Foundation, the recital followed Jiahao Han’s distinction as a prizewinner of the 2022 New York International Piano Competition. The event took place at the National Arts Club’s historic Gramercy Park venue and featured works by Beethoven, Liszt, TAN Dun, Dorman, and Stravinsky.

This performance further marked Jiahao’s growing artistic presence in New York, presenting him as a pianist whose playing combines virtuosity, structural clarity, and vivid imagination. In the context of the Stecher and Horowitz Foundation’s long-standing support for young artists, the recital offered an opportunity for audiences to hear Jiahao’s wide-ranging musicianship, from the classical and romantic depth of Beethoven and Liszt to the coloristic and modern sound worlds of Stravinsky, TAN Dun, and Dorman.
